Shipyard Competent Person Training

Shipyard Competent Person (SCP) training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to identify, evaluate, and control hazards in shipyard environments, ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel. This training, often encompassing OSHA regulations, covers topics like enclosed space entry, hot work procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment. SCPs are designated by employers and must demonstrate their ability to recognize and address hazardous conditions, ensuring workers are protected from exposures and other unsafe situations.

  • January 4 & 5, 2027 (Mon & Tue)
